Do not use the steam function on materials that cannot endure high temperatures. If in doubt as to
the material, test the iron on an inconspicuous part of the garment. To prevent scratching, do not
iron over buttons or similar objects. Do not turn the iron upside down when in use as the water may
leak out.

USING THE SPRAY FUNCTION
The spray function can be used in any thermostat position as long as the tank is filled with water.
This function is useful for moistening stiff clothing and materials.
CLEANING - FIRST UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE.
The outside and the ironing base can be wiped with a damp cloth. The base may become discolou-
red due to the heat. This is normal and will not affect the performance in any way. To avoid scrat-
ching the base, do not iron over hard objects. The inside can be cleaned by allowing the iron to
steam freely for one minute. It is a good idea to do this before ironing in order to prevent staining.
This product contains PTFE. This is completely harmless if the product is used normally. However,
birds are extremely sensitive to this substance. We therefore advise against using this product in the
same room as any pet birds.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE=neutral, BROWN=LIVE, GREEN-YELLOW=EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
- The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
- The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured red.
- THE GREEN-YELLOW WIRE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug
marked with the letter E or
