SAFETY RULES

ATTENTION: The halogen lamp (protection type IP X7) is only suitable for underwater
operation!
When using the halogen lamp, observe the following safety rules:
• Use the halogen lamp only with the original transforner supplied.
• Before fi lling the fountain with water, disconnect the transformer from the socket and
also let the halogen spot light cool down.
• Before touching the halogen lamp or removing it from the water, disconnect the
transformer from the socket.
• Do not use the device when the halogen lamp, the the connecting cable or the
transformer show signs of mechanical damage.
• Do not place any heat-sensitive objects near the halogen lamp SKY.
• Only use original spare parts of seliger
The company seliger ® assumes no liability for damage caused by non-observance of the
safety rules and for damage caused to plants or animals.

EXCHANGING THE HALOGEN LAMP
Remove the transformer from the wall socket and wait until the halogen lamp has cooled
down.
Remove the SKY from the water and dry the casing of the lamp completely.
(Ill. A) Hold the casing of the SKY and screw the lighting handle off.
Attention: Do not touch the halogen lamp with your fi ngers, use a soft cloth.
Pull the defective halogen lamp out of the lamp-holder and replace it by a new halogen
lamp (12 V/10 W G4).
Screw the lighting handle into the metal casing of the SKY again.
(Ill. B) The red rubber seal must be at the thread of the lighting handle. This way, the
halogen lamp is watertight.
Now the halogen lamp SKY is ready to use again.
