The Track Nut

Place the Entity Combo on the board so that the
brass nuts (The Track Nut) are visible in the tracks through
the lateral mounting slots of the NTT ContactPads. Make
sure that you have placed the right and left pad correctly.

seitlichen Montageschlitze des NTT ContactPads zu sehen

Mount the Entity Combo on the board with the sup-
plied screws and washers. The screws must catch the th-
read of the brass nuts. Tighten the screws just enough so
that you are still able to move the Entity Combo in all di-
rections. Use a PH3 Phillips screwdriver for this purpose.

Schrauben und den Unterlegscheiben auf dem Board.
Die Schrauben müssen in das Gewinde der Messingmut-
tern greifen. Ziehe die Schrauben nur so fest, dass sich die
Entity Combo noch in alle Richtungen verschieben lässt.
Verwende hierzu einen PH3 Kreuzschlitzschraubenzieher.

The Entity Combo can now be moved and rotated
in all directions. The markings at the side of the mounting
slots of the NTT ContactPad and at the outer Track on the
board help you to find the right position. After you have
found the desired position you must fasten the screws
tightly.

Die Entity Combo lässt sich nun in alle Richtungen ver-
schieben und rotieren. Zum Einstellen helfen Dir die Mar-
kierungen seitlich der Montageschlitze am NTT Contact-
Pad und die Markierung in der jeweils äußeren The Track
Schiene im Board. Nachdem Du die gewünschte Position
gefunden hast, musst Du die Schrauben fest anziehen. Die
mittleren Dreiecke
der Markierungen zeigen Dir den
Recommended Stance, die empfohlene Grundeinstel-
lung, der Entity Combo an.
Tip:
Together with The Track System, the Entity Combo allows
you to steplessly adjust the pad distance, pad angle and
pad position in relation to the edges.
Pad Distance:
The pad distance depends on your size, riding style and
preferences. A narrow distance is usually more comfortab-
le because it makes the board feel softer. Furthermore, a
narrow distance saves strength and is therefore preferred
by freeriders. Freestylers usually chose a wider distance.
This provides a lot of pop and permits more aggressive
edging. The wide distance gives the rider more control
in tricks and landings, however, it also makes riding more
strenuous.
Pad Angle:
In the basic setup the angle is 10°. The pad angle depends
strongly on the rider's personal preferences. Some riders
prefer a position with the front foot rotated far to the out-
side. We recommend a greater angle for these riders.
Pad Position Relative to the Edge:
The position of the pad on the board in relation to the
heel and toe edge greatly influences the board's riding
characteristics. With very wide boards or very small feet
it is recommended to move the binding towards the heel
edge. This increases pressure on the heel edge and facili-
tates upwind riding. A central position of the foot between
the two edges provides better stability in landings. Narrow
boards and large feet also benefit from a central position.
Tipps:
Die Entity Combo in Kombination mit dem The Track Sys-
tem ermöglichen dir eine stufenlose Verstellung des Pad-
Abstandes, des Pad-Winkels und der Pad-Position im Ver-
hältnis zu den Kanten.
Pad-Abstand:
Der Pad-Abstand ist abhängig von deiner Größe, dei-
nem Fahrstil und natürlich deinen Vorlieben. Ein schmaler
Abstand ist in der Regel komfortabler, da sich das Board
weicher anfühlt. Gleichzeitig ist ein schmaler Abstand et-
was kraftschonender und wird daher meist von Freeridern
bevorzugt. Freestyler hingegen bevorzugen in der Regel
einen breiteren Abstand. Dieser erzeugt einen starken Pop
und das Board lässt sich aggressiver Ankanten. Der brei-
te Abstand verleiht dem Fahrer bei Tricks und Landungen
mehr Kontrolle, ist aber gleichzeitig auch kraftraubender.
Pad-Winkel:
In der Grundeinstellung beträgt der Winkel 10°. Der Winkel
des Pads ist sehr stark von den eigenen Vorlieben abhän-
gig. Es gibt Fahrer, die den vorderen Fuß beim Fahren sehr
stark nach außen drehen. Diesen Fahrern empfehlen wir
einen größeren Winkel.
Pad-Position zur Kante:
Die Position des Pads auf dem Board in Bezug auf die Fer-
sen- und Zehenkante hat starken Einfluss auf das Fahrver-
halten des Boards. Bei sehr breiten Boards oder sehr klei-
nen Füßen empfiehlt es sich die Bindung in Richtung der
Fersenkante zu verschieben. Dies erhöht den Kantendruck
auf der Fersenkante und erleichtert somit das Höhelaufen.
Eine zentrierte Positionierung des Fußes zwischen den bei-
den Kanten liefert mehr Stabilität bei Landungen. Auch
bei der Benutzung von schmalen Boards mit großen Füßen
empfiehlt sich eine zentrierte Positionierung.
NTT QuickMount
The NTT QuickMount function allows you to mount and re-
move the Entity Combo within seconds.
Über die NTT QuickMount Funktion lässt sich die Entity Com-
bo innerhalb von Sekunden montieren und demontieren.

Before mounting the NTT QuickMount, remove the ou-
ter The Track Plugs.

The Track Plug entfernen.

In order to remove the pad with the NTT QuickMount
function you must first loosen the screws until it can be mo-
ved. After removing the two inner The Track Plugs you can
simply slide the Entity Combo to the side and pull it off the
board. The Track Nuts remain on the screws of the Entity
Combo.

Um nun das Pad über die NTT QuickMount Funktion
zu entfernen, musst du die Schrauben soweit lösen, dass
es sich verschieben lässt. Nach Entfernen der zwei inne-
ren The Track Plugs lässt sich die Entity Combo einfach zur
Seite schieben und nach oben entnehmen. Die The Track
Nuts bleiben dabei an den Schrauben der Entity Combo.

To reinsert The Entity Combo into The Track System you
simply reverse the procedure. Don't forget to insert the
two inner The Track Plugs in the end.

Combo wieder in das The Track System einsetzen. Achte
darauf, dass Du die zwei inneren The Track Plugs nach der
Montage wieder einsetzt.

Caution:
When using the Entity Combo with a North Kiteboarding
board with standard inserts, the Entity Combo can only
be mounted in the standard position. The full function of
the Entity Combo is only available in combination with The
Track System.
Achtung:
Bei der Benutzung der Entity Combo mit einem North Kite-
boarding Board mit Standard Inserts kann die Entity Com-
bo nur in der Grundeinstellungsposition montiert werden.
Der volle Funktionsumfang der Entity Combo kommt nur in
