BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the
stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.

• Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest setting and allow the device
heating at least 5 minutes without food.
• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor will occur. This

USE
• Insert the plug into the wall socket. Set the temperature control to the
desired setting. Both indication lights will illuminate.
• After a short warm-up period with the plates closed (the green light goes
off ) the waffle maker is ready for use.
• Open the waffle maker and grease both baking plates with some oil or fat.
• Spread the prepared waffle dough from the center over the lower baking tray.
• The baking time in every setting is 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the kind of
dough, the temperature setting and your own wishes.
• Do not use sharp objects to remove your waffle, in order to prevent damage
to the non stick coating.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool both
halves open.
• Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or soft brush.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device
is not dishwasher proof.
