Sleep function, for energy saving, is activated, if the watch is stored in the dark for 3 days. The hands stop on 12. If the watch comes into light again, the stored
time is displayed. In the case of longer dark phases, the watch is updated again by pressing any button.
display and hands may be disturbed. For this reason, a re-calibration of the hands is necessary when you start using your watch for the first time. Pull the winding
button of your watch all the way out. The LCD display shows CAL. Now press the Start/Stop button until the second hand is on 12:00. Now turn the winding button,
until the minute hand and the hour hand are exactly on 12:00 as well. Now, press the winding button completely in. Depending on the adjusted time zone DCF / MSF
/ WVB / JJY, the upper LCD display now indicates the reception of the radio signal. In order to manually adjust the received time signal, press the Mode button
during signal reception. The watch now searches for the time signal adjusted by you. Pay attention to the reception strength of the respective time signal. This
process may take 5-8 minutes. The storage cell must have sufficient charge for this process. If this is not the case, the process can only be completed after sufficient
charging time.
2. LCD display:
a) Upper LCD display: day of the week; lower LCD display: date,
b) Upper LCD display: city; lower LCD display: world time
c) Upper LCD display: stopwatch; lower LCD display: stop time
3. Manual transmitter call
Press Start/Stop for 3 seconds while the world time or the day of the week is indicated in the upper LCD display. (In order to cancel the manual transmitter call,
repeatedly press the Start/Stop button for 3 seconds during transmitter search). This starts radio signal reception. It takes 3-8 minutes for the reception to complete.
To switch to a different time signal for the transmitter call (e.g., as you are outside the preset time signal while searching the transmitter), press the Mode button
during the transmitter search. The respective signal designation is shown in the upper LCD display. The watch adjusts the radio time and the correct date according
to the received signal. The transmitter call refers to the respective time signal of the adjusted time zone, respectively to the manually switched receive signal. If
reception was not successful, the hands adjust back to the time received last. The signal will be automatically obtained every night between 3 and 4 am.
4. Adjustment of the analog world time (indicated by hands)
To adjust the analog world time, change the radio signal reception, or to manually adjust the time, proceed as follows:
Press Set/Reset for approx. 3 seconds while the day of the week and the date are shown on the display, in order to enter the programming mode provided for this
purpose. The time zone flashes. Now you can select one of the 38 cities/time zones using the Start/Stop button. Next, press Mode to enter the DST (Daylight
Savings Time) setting. Press Start/Stop to activate / deactivate this setting ("ON/OFF"). Press Mode to enter the hour indicator in the lower LCD display. Adjust the
hour as you wish using the Start/Stop button. Press Mode again to continue. Similarly, you can adjust the minutes, language (GERMAN/ENGLISH) for the weekly
display as well as the date. Press Set/Reset to exit the manual settings. Now, the hands adjust automatically. The watch automatically uses the radio signal adjusted
for the respectively set analog word time for signal reception, if the signal is available and the reception strength is sufficient (transmitter locations, see "Product
Features").
5. Manual adjustment of the digital world time (time zone/city in the digital display)
To change the world time in the digital LCD display, proceed as follows:
A world time is shown in the LCD display. Now, press Set/Reset for approx. 3 seconds. The world time zone currently programmed flashes in the upper LCD display.
Now, press Start/Stop to change the world time zone. Next, press Mode to enter the DST setting.
Press Start/Stop in order to activate /deactivate ("ON/OFF") the Daylight Savings Time. Press Set/Reset to finish and exit the settings.
5. Stopwatch
If STW is indicated in the display, press Start/Stop to start and stop the stopwatch. When pressing Set/Reset, the stopwatch is reset to zero. Intermediate time
measurements are possible using Set/Reset while the stopwatch is running, SPL (split stopwatch) indicator.

General information
Your solar watch should always have a basic charge to prevent damage to the storage cell.
For this purpose, it is recommended to never store the watch permanently in the dark and to expose it to light
on a daily base.
Winding
The winding button of your watch may be bolted (model-depending)! Loosen the button by turning it

counterclockwise to adjust settings. By pressing the button and turning it clockwise, the winding button is
locked again.
