1. Insert the power plug of the chip vac into power mains and switch on
the unit with the ON/OFF switch (3). Set to the desired operating
mode.
2. After finishing work, switch to stage 0, also do this if you have selected
the switch stage R.
Please note: The rated power consumption of the connected power
tool should be at least 400 W. If the power consumption is below
400 W, it will not be possible to operate the chip vac in stage R. In this
case, set the ON/OFF switch to stage I.

Emptying the Dust Bag

If the dust bag is full, the motor sound becomes louder and the suction
power is getting weaker.
1. Switch off the chip vac and disconnect from power mains.
2. Open both container clips and remove the motor housing.
3. Remove the dust bag. Slide off the dust bag clip and empty the bag. If
necessary tap out remaining dust from the bag.
4. Replace the dust bag clip by sliding it back on along the bag recess.
5. Check the motor filter for blockages and, if necessary, tap out the filter.

Accessory

The extension tubes (6) and the 360° round brush (9) can be connected
with the suction hose and the chip vac. So the unit can also be used as a
standard vacuum cleaner.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before maintaining the unit, pull the power plug.
Clean the suction openings after each use and also clean the motor
filter. The motor filter can be cleaned by simply washing it with warm
water. The filter must be completely dry before re-inserting into the
opening of the motor housing.
Using
there is a delay of 10 – 15 seconds before the chip
vac will switch off.
