The device should be cleaned on a regular base in order to prevent loss of power caused by soiling.

The expected operation- lifespan of th device amounts to 4 –to 8 years depending on usage and

maintenance. The operating life of the UV-lamp amounts to 200 to 400 operating hours, depending on
the usage. Storage beyond the recommended ambient conditions might reduce the lifespan of the
device and the UV-lamp.
Before every treatment it is important to check that all components are clean. Especially if the user
•
changes the device needs to be disinfected after each use.
It's only allowed to use the device with the pinned transparent cover. The cover should only be
•
removed for cleaning- and disinfection purposes (After the device has been unplugged in advance!).
IP-Classification
The device is classified IP 31. This means a protection against instrusion of vertically failing water drops
and protection against intrusion of solid bodies greater than or equal 2,5 mm.
Bringing into service
Visually inspect the unit for any damage. Report any detected damages to your dealer. Make sure the
power supply specifications are 230 V~ / 50 / 60 Hz.

Do not extend treatment unnecessarily and only irradiate yourself once every day.
Timer Operation
To set the exposure time in minutes, press the MIN key, for seconds, press the SEC key until the
•
desired exposure time is set.
Pressing the Start/Stop key initiates the preset time. The audible signal indicating the end of the
•
preset time can be switched off by pressing any key. The previously set time then reappears on the
display.
To interrupt exposure before the preset time has expired, press the Start/Stop key.
•
To delete the preset time, press the MIN and SEC keys.
