• Only connect the device to a plug that has been
installed in accordance with regulations. Do not use
any desk socket or extension cable.
• The voltage specified on the nameplate of the de-
vice must correspond to that of your mains supply.
• The mains plug should be easily accessible, so the
device can be easily unplugged in an emergency.
• Keep the device and power cord well away from
hot surfaces and naked flames, as well as sharp
edges.
• Be careful when running the power cord that there
is no risk of it causing a trip hazard.
• Never immerse the device handle, power cord and
mains plug in water or other liquids. There is a risk
of fatal electric shock!
• Never touch the device, power cord and mains plug
with moist or wet hands.
• Please always be cautious since the knives located
in the blending part of the unit are very sharp. Keep
hands, hair, items of clothing as well as cutlery or
