2.2 Software
2.2.1 Update of AVL DiTEST XDS 1000
For the update you will receive a C /DVD. Alternatively, you can download the AVL DiTEST XDS
1000 software update from the AVL DiTEST website.
Update via CD/DVD:
1. Insert the CD/DVD into the DVD drive of your PC.
- if the installation of the AVL DiTEST XDS 1000 should start automatically,
finish the installation by tapping on Cancel.
- plug the supplied USB stick into an available USB port of your PC.
- Start the program
- Tap on transfer installation medium to USB
- after the transfer log off and pull off the USB stick.
2. Open the cover and plug the USB stick (2) into USB port (1).
3. Double-click
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
