Safety Instructions

1. Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for
future reference.
2. Before you connect the device to the mains supply, make sure that the
voltage indicated at the bottom of the iron matches the mains voltage in your
home or hotel. If it does not, switch to the correct voltage range.
3. Do not leave the iron unattended when plugged in. Keep away from
children.
4. To unplug the appliance, pull gently the plug and never the cord.
5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by our service agent in
order to avoid electrical hazards.
6. Keep the heat-plate away from bodyparts and heat sensitive objects.
7. Unplug the device before you fill or empty the container with water.
8. This iron must use an electrical outlet with earth connection.
9. You should stop using and unplug immediately if the device malfunctions
(such as scorch, smoke etc.) and contact the manufacturer.
10. Do not maintain the iron by yourself. It should be repaired by the service
center or sent to the manufacturer for an exchage.
11. Do not iron buttons or fasteners. This could damage the iron.
12. During operation do not use when the light is on. When the light turns off
the iron has reached the correct temperature.
13. Do not iron directly onto synthetic fabric, iron the fabric inside out or with
the synthetic fabric covered by other material.

14. Water will drip out if the temperature dial is not set.
15. Do not leave water in the water tank when not in use. This can corrode and
damage the soleplate.
16. This product is for household use only.
