SHORT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4D Armrest
The RECARO Specialist EL is a very comfortable swivel chair. It is designed
for the use in office as well as for the 24/7 application.
Seat height setting
Pull lever upwards – height can be set.
Release lever – seat height is fixed again.
‚ Changes to the seat inclination / free swinging
function
You can use your RECARO Specialist EL fixed (3 positions possible) or
constantly movable in the free swinging mode.
Pull lever upwards – mechanics is fixed.
Press lever down and press with the upper part of the body against the back
rest (security release) – free swinging function is activated.
ƒ Spring tension settings
For the individual adjustment regarding the respective weight of the user using
the free swinging mode the lever at the mechanics has to be pulled out and
turned:
clockwise – higher counterpressure – for heavy user
counter clockwise – lower counterpressure – for lightweight user
Attention:
Basic condition for the longevity of the RECARO Specialist EL is
the correct setting of the mechanics regarding the weight of the user.
Attention:
Changes regarding the chair, as well as disregard of these
operating instructions will cause loss of the guarantee.
„ 4D armrests
4D armrests are:
• adjustable regarding width – lever under the seat
• height adjustable – push button at the outside of the armrest
• horizontally adjustable – by shifting the support plate
• support plate 360° rotatable – push button on the inside of the support
plate
... Seat extension – only with RECARO Specialist EL M
and L
Use the handle bar under the front part of the seat to pull it to the position
desired.

Use the lateral tumbler switch for setting
‡ Adjustable Headrest
Adjustable regarding height and inclination.
