2. Installation
2.1. Minimum System Requirements
one free USB-A-Socket (5V ± 5%, 500mA)

Microsoft Windows® 7 or newer, other OS on request

For further information of the standard modules, drivers and interfaces please refer
to chapter 3 „ Modules" and appendix A „Technische Daten – Technical Data".
2.2. Hardware Installation
plug in the Micro-B USB-Jack of the included USB-Cable to the Micro-B USB-

Socket on the back of the ML 4
connect the USB-A-Jack of the cable to one USB-Port of your PC

Place the ML 4 on a flat surface or mount it on an optionally available Pole-Mount-
Adapter. The screw connection diagram and a drawing of the adapter can be found at
appendix B „Abmessungen - Dimensions".
2.3. Software Installation
Ideally, all modules of the ML 4 should work the first time you plug it into your PC.
There is no need to manually install any drivers.
However, should you encounter any problems, please review the information on
chapter 3 „ Modules" for explanation on how to manually install the drivers for each
module.
All information on the software interfaces can be found in appendix A „Technische
Daten – Technical Data".
2.4. Demo-Software
A sample program with associated source code is available on request. Please
