Identify the rear light which has the reversing light integrated and dismantle it. The socket of the rear light has
a live wire (red) and a neutral wire (black). Connect the wires of the camera with the corresponding wires of the
socket. Assemble the rear light again. If you go into reverse and put the ignition key to ON the camera should
be activated without starting the motor necessarily.
Fig1: If the camera should be attached to the trunk lid or the tail sheet
metal remove its carpeting first. If the camera should be attached to
bumper the removing of the carpeting is also necessary to lead the
power supply cable to the reversing light.
Fig2: Drill a hole into the trunk lid or the tail sheet metal through which
the power supply cable will be lead to the reversing light. Further drill
five holes at the site where the camera should be situated.
Fig3: Insert the grommet into the boring for the power supply cable to
protect it from getting damaged by the metal edge.
Fig4: Attach the camera to the installation site by fasten its bracket with
the screws. Make sure that no part of the license plate will be covered
by the camera.
