MBNLED DMX RDM REPEATER
The DMX standard allows to connect 32 devices in one chain.
If you have more than 32 devices, then using a Repeater you can connect 32 more
devices. The Repeater can be connected between any DMX device and it is also
possible to use more repeaters in the same DMX universe.
Using the DMX repeater is useful in long connection distances and/or to improve the
signal quality.
REPEATE DMX SIGNAL AND SERVE RDM
If the incoming signal not a normal DMX data packet (with 0 start code) but an RDM
packet, the Repeater can process it also and will send it to its output. If the incoming
RDM packet is a response of a device, than the Repeater will send the packet to the
output and changes the communication direction. So it will be able to send back the
answer from the device to the controller.
Due to the bidirectional communication mode, it is not possible to install one
DMX device between the controller and the spliiter. If a very long cable used in
the system, more Repeaters can be connected (maximum 4), one after the other.

Functions via USB

The built in USB socket allows to perform a firmware update of the product and to
monitor the DMX data. Both functions can be performed with the same PC software.
