IV. Information about using
the blender
c
ATTENTION
• Before using the blender, thoroughly wash all
parts coming into contact with food.
• Prior to blending fruits, vegetables or nuts remove
any contained hard parts, e.g. stones, shells.
• Thoroughly wash the fruits, vegetables or nuts
before blending.
• Cut up large ingredients into pieces no larger than
2.5 cm before placing them into the blender. Do
not mix ingredients measuring more than 2.5 cm!
• Never use the blender to knead dough or for
processing similarly thick substances, e.g.
mashed potatoes, butter cream, etc., or for
mincing meat, etc., as this would overload and
burn the motor in the blender.
• Never place ingredients/liquids hotter than 60°C
into the blending jar as this would damage the
plastic and the gasket seal on the mixing base.
V. Assembling and
operating the blender
1) Place the ingredients into the blending jar,
remembering to put only a small amount
of hard and thick ingredients to prevent
overloading the blender motor and add
some water or milk into the mixture.
The total volume of the blended mixture
including the liquid component must not
exceed 300 ml (or 600 ml with the small jar)
because a certain amount of free space is
required for the movement of the blended
mixture, otherwise the ingredients will not
be blended/chopped evenly in the entire
M
mixture. (
Fig. B)
2) Position the blender motor unit on a firm dry
even surface.
User's manual
3) Screw the blending base on to the thread of
a blending jar that is filled with ingredients
M
and pull it tight. (
Fig. C)
4) Prior to plugging the power cord of the
motor unit into an el. power socket, check
that the voltage in the socket corresponds
to the voltage specified on the rating label
located on the underside of the motor unit.
The blender can be used in the voltage range
of 220-240 V~50 Hz.
Then insert the power plug of the blender
into an el. power socket.
5) Turn the mixing jar with the firmly tightened
blending base upside down and turn the jar
so that the „▲" symbol on the blending base
lines up with the same symbol on the motor
unit. Then seat the blending base with the
jar in the space of the motor unit and while
gently pushing it down, turn it to the left to
lock it in place.

Fig. E-1, E-2)
c
ATTENTION
If the blending jar is not correctly seated in the
blender then the blender will not run because it is
equipped with a safety mechanism that prevents it
from running unless this mechanism is activated.
6) To start the blender, press the On/Off button
and watch the blended mixture for the entire
duration of the blending process.
If the mixture is not circulating then there is too
much of it and thus it is necessary to reduce its
amount in the jar.
Disconnect the power cord from the el. power
source and perform disassembly according to
the steps provided below.
The fineness of the blended mixture/
blended ingredients depends on how long the
blender runs.
c
ATTENTION
• If the blender does not start when the On/Off
button is pressed, immediately release the
button, disconnect the appliance from the el.
power source and check whether the cause is
a blocked blending blade, incorrectly seated
blending jar, etc. Proceed in the same manner if
the blender suddenly stops running.
• If the motor sounds „tired" while the blender
is running, immediately turn the blender off
and remedy the cause of the overloading to
prevent burning the motor. It is not possible
to claim a free warranty repair on a motor
damaged by overloading as it does not constitute
a manufacturing defect of the product.
7) When the ingredients are fully blended/
chopped up, turn the blender off by releasing
the On/Off button.
8) Disconnect the power cord from the el. power
source.
9) Turn the blending jar to the right and take it
off the motor unit.
10) Screw the blending base off the jar and empty
out the jar's contents or replace the blending
base with a lid with a closable drinking spout.
You can then take the jar with its contents
M
with you. (
Fig. D)
11) Rinse the parts of the blender that came in
contact with food using water.
If necessary, only wipe the motor unit using
a damp cloth.
