3. Trouble shooting
• The built-in siren launches and alarm when there is no water leak.
o
A probable cause is that you are using the unit on a conductive surface. You
can place a piece of thin paper or plastic between the unit and the
conductive surface to solve the problem.
o Another probable cause is that the surface on which the unit is placed is
not dry enough, make sure that the surface is dry before you place the unit onto it.
• The unit does not give any alarm when touching water.
o
A probable cause is that the device was placed wrongly. Both metal sensors
need to be in contact with water to trigger an alarm. Please review installation
process on point 3.
o Another cause could be that the batteries are flat, you need to replace them.
