Water Leak Detector (ISD-WD1)

1. Installation
Installing batteries
1. Remove the two screws on the battery cover, and then remove the battery cover.
2. Install 3 new batteries (included in the package content), make sure that the polarity connections are correct.
3. Close the battery cover lid and fasten the screws.
• If you do not use the device for a long time, please remove the batteries.
• Replace the batteries and test the unit at least once, each 6 months to assure
proper operation.
• To test the function, place the unit on a plate of water so that the water
touches the sensors at the bottom. Alternatively, touch the water sensors
simultaneously with two fingers.
The device can be positioned anywhere close to a possible
leakage risk, for example at pipes or tanks, required for the water supply,
heating, and sanitation. Also close to aquariums, sump pumps, refrigerators,
dishwashers, washing machines, or air Conditioning tanks.
Please place the ISD-WD1 on the ground or other flat horizontally,
make sure that the two metal sensor are in good touch with the ground.
2. Operation
Water detection
When the ground deployment Water Detection Probes come in contact with water, the ISD-WD1 will activate
its built-in 90dB siren to launch an alarm. The alarm will persist until the metal sensors stop detecting water.
In case of water flood the ISD-WD1 it's a waterproof
device that can float on the water. This feature and the
IP66 certificate will avoid any type of damage to the
device by a water leak.
Low battery detection
When the ISD-WD1 detects a battery voltage less than 3.3V, will
notify the user with a "beep" sound every 10 seconds to remind that
a battery replacement is needed.
