8. Maintenance
The charging device is basically maintenance-free. Frequently inspect the housing of the charging
unit, the charging cables and the connectors by a visual check for external damage. If damage is
detected, the charging device must not be used any longer.
9. Cleaning
If required clean the charging device with a damp cloth. Avoid cleansing agents with solvents.

Residual current detection mechanism for AC and DC residual current:
Break limits and times were developed according to the draft standard IEC 62752.2 2014.
Remark: Currently the draft standard allows a deactivation of the 6mA DC residual current break
limit. Due to the fact that some vehicle charge controllers are exceeding this limit themselves, the
limit is currently also deactivated within the NRGkick system. This measure allows a smooth
charging of these vehicles.
