IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Only connect the device to a plug that has been
installed in accordance with regulations. Do not use
any desk socket or extension cable.
• The voltage specified on the nameplate of the de-
vice must correspond to that of your mains supply.
• Be careful when operating the device that there is
no risk of the power cord causing a trip hazard.
• Keep the power cord well away from hot surfaces
and naked flames, as well as sharp edges. Be ca-
reful to ensure that the cable does not get jammed
during operation (e.g. in doors).
• Never immerse the device, power cord and mains
plug in water or other liquids. There is a risk of fatal
electric shock!
• Never touch the device, power cord and mains plug
with moist or wet hands or when you are on moist
ground.
• If the device has evidently become damp or wet,
unplug from the mains immediately.
• Keep the device, power cord and mains plug away
from water and moisture, e.g. like washbasins,
shower rooms, bathtubs or people bathing. There is
a risk of fatal electric shock!
• For additional protection, we recommend that a resi-
dual current operated protective device (RCD) with
a nominal tripping current of no more than 30 mA
be installed in the bathroom electric circuit. Please
request the services of a qualified electrician.
• If the device is used in damp locations, always
unplug from the mains after each use.
• When you unplug the device, always pull the plug,
not the power cord. Never carry the device by the
