Use: These binocular magnifying glasses are only to be used by au-
thorized, trained personnel.
Purpose: These KaWe binocular magnifying eyeglasses are solely
intended to be used for magnification during medical examinations
and operations.
Unsuited use/contraindication of the products: Any use other
than that described here is not in accordance with the intended use
of the unit. The manufacturer is not liable for any resulting damages.
The user alone bears the risk.
Further instructions, maintenance, and storage: When used
and stored properly, this product will serve you reliably for many years.
Guarantee: When used properly and with attention to these instruc-
tions, we guarantee this product for two years after the date of pur-
chase. Should you need further information or should your instrument
require repair, please contact your dealer.
Safety warning: 1. These magnifying eyeglasses may only
be used if they are in perfect condition. 2. Do not use the glasses if
they have any loose screws. 3. Caution – do not drop the magnifying
glasses – they may break! 4. In order to avoid eye damage, do not
look into the sun or any other bright light while wearing the magnify-
ing glasses!

Storage and transportation: See Section F.
Cleaning preparation: No special requirements
Manual cleaning: The exterior surface of this product can be
cleaned with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth. Soap or other non-
aggressive agents may be used. The lenses of the binocular magni-
fying glasses can be carefully wiped clean with KaWe cleaning spray
as described in Section E.
Automatic cleaning: Automatic cleaning not possible/necessary.

Disinfection: The housing and ear pieces can be wiped clean with
a cloth that has been moistened with alcohol. Always dry all surfaces

Maintenance: When used and cleaned properly, these binocular
magnifying eyeglasses are maintenance-free. The fastening screws
are only to be loosened by authorized professional technicians.
Inspection and functionality test: Check all moveable parts such
as joints. All devices: check for visible damage or wear.
Packaging: Packed individually in boxes.
Sterilisation: Sterilisation is neither necessary nor possible.
Storage: Store in a dry place between +5 and +60 °C, see Section F.
Disposal: This product is to be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations at a separate waste collection site/recycling centre.
