Special compartment

The special compartment (Figure
used for storing various fresh food products
up to three times longer than a convention-
al fridge. The temperature in the special
compartment in beetween 0° C and 3°C

The humidity can be infinitely adjusted:

The humidity in the special compartment
depends on:
– Quantity and moisture content of the
stored food products
– Type of packaging
– Compartment opening frequency

The special drawer is particularly well suit-
ed to storing:
– Berries, leaf salad, vegetables, fruit,
mushrooms etc. (high air humidity set-
ting, symbol on right)
– Meat, fish, poultry, sausage, etc. (low air
humidity setting, symbol on left)
Note:
The special compartment should not be
used for potatoes, hard cheese, cold-
sensitive vegetables such as aubergines,
beans, cucumbers, pumpkins, chillies,
tomatoes, courgettes.
All cold-sensitive tropical fruits such as
pineapple, avocados, bananas, grapefruits,
mangos, melons, papayas, passion fruit,
etc. should be stored in closed compart-
ments in the fridge (to prevent drying out).
