QUICK START GUIDE
for Forehead Thermometer
First time use:
• Pull plastic strip from battery compartment and discard.
• Remove 37.0°C label from the LCD display and discard.
• Remove protective sensor cap.

Turn unit ON by pressing
the "Start" button.

A. Press the "Start" button again.
B. Place the probe gently and fl ush onto the area
approximately 1.25 cm above eyebrow to temple.
C. A beep indicates when measurement has been
taken

Press the "Start" button and
hold it for 3 seconds to turn
the unit off
Some helpful information on fever
• Call your doctor if your child has diarrhea, vomiting or changes in appetite, lethargy (sluggishness) or is
unusually sleepy.
• It is important to know each individual's normal temperature when they are well. A child's normal
temperature can be as high as 37.7°C or as low as 36.1°C. Take multiple readings when healthy to determine
normal temperature. This is the only way to accurately diagnose a fever.

Fever InSight™ feature
Fever InSight helps you better explain to your child the meaning of their temperature thanks to the colour

and a Red alert for fever. 10 audible beeps indicate temperatures above 37.5°C.
