Special safety instructions

Never use compressed air tools in areas where
there is risk of fire or explosion.
Compressors and compressed air tools can be
dangerous if operated incorrectly. Always observe
the compressor manufacturer's safety instructions!
Always remember to drain the compressor tank of
water and to clean the air hose filter. Water and
contaminants in the compressed air can damage
tools.
Always be aware of the location of the hose. Sudden
changes in pressure in the hose can cause it to move
with sufficient force to knock over people and
objects, which can cause injury or damage. Always
ensure the hose does not lie in a place where you
could easily trip over it.
Excessive air pressure will wear out tools faster and
can cause dangerous situations.
Do not allow the compressed air hose to come into
contact with sharp edges, heat and oil.
Never lift or carry the compressed air tools by their
hose. Always grip the tool itself.
Check the air supply, all hoses, connections,
nipples and adapters and that clean air is being
supplied at the correct pressure before use. NEVER
use the air supply and tool if this is not the case!
Never use any other pressurised gas sources, such
as oxygen or acetylene.
Always disconnect the air supply before removing
or switching tools or accessories.
Check that the tool is not activated before
connecting air hoses.
Always use face mask and protective glasses when
using compressed air tools in dusty environments,
as they can cause dust to swirl around.
Compressed air tools in use can generate noise
levels in excess of 85 dB(A). If this is the case,
always use ear protectors.
Always maintain a firm grip on compressed air
tools during use, to avoid dropping the tool due
to sudden expected movements.
