REARVIEW PEU-056B
1. Empty slot
These are empty slots to build in further relay cards, i.e.
PRC-008x, PRC-108x, PRC-408x or PRC-508x
2. Extension connector
The ribbon cable PFK-200 is to be inserted into this jack
in order to connect up to three extension units PEU-056B
to the basic unit PSS-224B.
SETTING IN OPERATION
The extension unit PEU-056B is connected to the central
unit through the ribbon cable PFK-200. This ribbon cable
provides the unit with power and control signals.
The PEU-056B basic device is delivered to you as an empty
cabinet. In case you wish to install relay modules you must
open the top cover and screw those relay modules into the
cabinet. The detailed description on how to do this can be
found in the chapter PRC-008 C / PRC-108A / PRC-408A /
PRC-508A.
Once all relay modules have been built into the device, the
internal bus address of the PEU-056B needs to be defined.
The master device PSS-224B does
have the constant internal bus address
0. The up to three slave devices of the
PEU-056B have to be set to SLAVE1,
SLAVE2, and SLAVE3.
It is advised to stick to this order; otherwise the PSS-
224B will show an error message and won't function pro-
perly.

RÜCKANSICHT PEU-056B
1. Leerschächte
Leerschächte zum Einbau von Relaiskarten PRC-008x,
PRC-108x, PRC-408x oder PRC-508x.
2. Erweiterungsanschluss
In diese Buchse wird das Flachbandkabel PFK-200 ein-
gesteckt, um die bis zu drei Erweiterungsgeräte PEU-
056B mit dem Grundgerät PSS-224B zu verbinden.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Die Erweiterungseinheit PEU-056B wird mit dem Flach-
bandkabel PFK-200 mit dem Grundgerät PSS-224B verbun-
den. Über dieses Flachbandkabel erhält die PEU-056B ihre
Stromversorgung und ihre Steuersignale.
Das PEU-056B Grundgerät wird als Leergehäuse ausgelie-
fert. Sollen Relaismodule eingebaut werden, so muss der
Deckel geöffnet und die Relaismodule eingeschraubt wer-
den. Die genaue Vorgehensweise ist im Kapitel PRC-008C /
PRC-108A / PRC-408A / PRC-508x beschrieben.
Sind alle Relaismodule eingebaut, so muss noch die interne
Busadresse der PEU-056B festgelegt werden.
Das Master-Gerät PSS-224B hat die
feste interne Busadresse 0. Die bis zu
drei Sla-ve-Geräte PEU-056B müs-
sen dann intern jeweils auf „SLAVE1",
„SLAVE2" oder „SLAVE3" gejumpert
werden.
Die Reihenfolge ist zwingend einzuhalten, da sonst die
PSS-224B eine Fehlermeldung ausgibt und nicht korrekt
funktioniert.
