Function
The wireless router is used to extend the
range of devices. Its use allows the range
of the original transmission signal to be
doubled. The wireless router can also be
used to overcome problems in critical wire-
less transmission situations, for example in
steel-reinforced buildings.
Hazard warning
• You must not connect more than one
wireless router in series.
• Do not open the wireless router. It does
not contain any parts to be serviced by
the user. If a fault occurs, please contact
our service.
• Only operate the device indoors. Avoid
the influence of humidity, dust, sunlight
and other heat radiation.
• Do not push the wireless router beyond
the specified performance limit.
• Overloading can destroy the device or
cause a fire or an electrical accident.
• The power must be switched off before
connecting the relevant end device to
the wireless router.
• Always unplug the end device from the
wireless router before carrying out any
work on the end device (e.g. changing
the bulb).
• Only use the wireless router in perma-
nently installed sockets with grounding
contacts. Do not use it in multiple socket
outlets or with extension leads.
Commissioning
After it has been plugged into the easily
accessible socket, the wireless router will
try for three minutes to automatically inte-
grate itself in the SmartHome system (LED
flashes briefly every five seconds). Inte-
grate the device via the user software dur-
ing this time. You can make a new attempt
to integrate it at any time by pressing the
control button on the wireless router or by
unplugging it and plugging it back into the
socket.
