PLAYBACK OF A COMPLETE CD / MP3 / PLAYBACK OF A
SELECTED TRACK / CD AND MP3 / PROGRAMMING THE CD/
MP3 PLAYER / CD AND MP3 / CD / MP3 INTRO FUNCTION
• After the CD has been scanned, the
number of titles and the selected medium
(CD or MP3) appears in the display.
• Start CD playback by pressing the
Play/Pause button on the appliance or the
corresponding button 2 ; on the remote
control. The display will show 001 for track
1 of the CD / MP3.
• Use the volume control to select the desired
volume.
• To interrupt playback, press the Play/Pause
button on the appliance a second time,
or press the corresponding button 2 ; on
the remote control. The symbol 2 and the
number of the paused track will blink in the
display.
• To start the CD once more, press the Play/
Pause button on the appliance again, or
press the corresponding button 2 ; on the
remote control. The symbol in the display
will stop blinking, and CD / MP3 playback
will resume.
• To end playback, press the stop button on
the appliance or on the remote control.
NOTE:
If no CD has been inserted or if the CD cannot
be scanned, " - -" will flash in the display
followed by "no". If the CD compartment is
open, "OP" will appear in the screen (for
"Open").
Playback of a selected track / CD and MP3
• Insert an MP3 into the CD compartment.
• Briefly press the skip forward § or skip
backward button ∞ on the appliance, or
the corresponding button on the remote
control, until the desired track number
appears in the display.
• When you have done this, press the
Play/Pause button on the appliance or the
corresponding button 2 ; on the remote
control.
PROGRAMMING THE CD/MP3 PLAYER /
CD AND MP3
You can use the programme function to
programme and playback up to 32 tracks
from a CD in an order selected by you.
• Open the CD compartment, insert a CD
and close the CD compartment.
• Press the programme button PROGRAM on
the appliance or remote control once. The
symbols P01 and PROG will blink in the
display.
• Use the skip forward § or skip backward
∞ button on the appliance or remote
control to select the first track you wish to
programme.
• To confirm your selection, press the
programme button PROGRAM on the
appliance or remote control.
• Use the same method to select and
programme all further tracks.
• When you have selected the desired
playing order, press the Play/Pause button
on the appliance, or the corresponding
button 2 ; on the remote control, and this
will commence playback. Tracks will be
played in the order selected by you.
• Once all programmed titles were played
back, playback stops and the total number
of titles on the CD is displayed.
NOTE:
To interrupt playback of programmed titles,
push the key Play/Pause 2 ; or Stop key 9
once. Push the Stop Key 9 twice or open the
CD compartment to delete the program.

CD / MP3 intro function

• Insert a CD in the CD compartment and
press the INTRO button on the remote
control.
• The symbol INTRO will appear permanently
in the display, and approximately the first
10 seconds of every track on the CD will
be played.
