Battery Operation

1. Remove the plastic cap and turn the mode switch to the position OFF.
2. Remove the plug of the connection cable from the 6 V socket and pull the
battery compartment out of the housing.
3. Open the battery compartment lid by means of the small pin close to the
connection cable. Insert four batteries of the type 1.5 V LR 20 (UM1),
observing right polarity into the housing. Hook the battery compartment
into the housing and connect the plug with the 6 V socket.
4. To make a function test, press the audio button for test mode. The red
LED lights up and a high frequent sound can be heard, but only in the test
mode.

Mains Operation

1. Set the voltage on the power mains adaptor to 12V and turn the mode
switch to the position OFF.
2. Remove the battery housing. Connect the 12 V adaptor to the 12 V socket.
Make sure the plug has the correct polarity (in +, out -).
3. Connect the adaptor with a wall socket. To make a function test, press the
audio button for test mode. The red LED lights up and a high frequent
sound is heard, but only in the test mode.

Switch Setting

The animal repeller is provided with two operation modes.
When connecting the unit with a 12 V adaptor you can choose between
continuously operation and motion sensor-controlled operation.
If the switch is in position CON high frequent sound waves will be radiated.
If the switch is in position M/S the high frequent sound waves are only
radiated when the motion sensor detects any movement. After 5 seconds
the sound waves are switched off.
To achieve long operating time with one set of batteries, the motion sensor
is always activated in the switch position CON and M/S. If the motion
sensor is activated an ultrasonic sound is radiated for 5 seconds.
Always place the plastic cap back on the unit after each switch setting.
