Explanation of displays and buttons

1. Switch consumer to zero potential (pull mains plug out).
2. Connect the 2 wire potential free connection cable (pulse output) to the de-
signated pulse input of the appliance to be controlled.
3. Plug the VC280 into the 230 V mains socket nearest the consumer.
4. Now plug the power plug of the consumer into the VC280.
Note
The unit is now ready for the manual operation via operating button of
the VC280.
