Placement
a) Surface
• Place the power strip on a dry, flat and even surface close to the mains socket you will connect it to. The
mains socket must remain easily accessible!
• The strip is equipped with anti-slip feet. Note that the feet may leave marks on sensitive surfaces.
b) Wall mounting
• The power strip provides openings at the bottom for wall mounting.
• Contact a technician that can help with the wall mounting procedure in case you cannot handle it on your
own.
Connection
• Move the reset switch RESET/OFF (8) into the OFF position.
• Plug desired loads into the receptacles (6).
• Connect the mains cable (1) to a regular grounded mains socket (wall socket) of the public supply grid.
Operation
Refer to the app manual to learn more about WLAN setup and operation of the power strip in
combination with the mobile app.
Without configuration via mobile app the power strip functions as a regular power strip with all
receptacles active.
a) Turning on and off
• Move the reset switch RESET/OFF into the RESET position. Take note of the behaviour of the various
indicator lights:
On/Off indicator light (3) lights up.
- the
- all port indicator lights (9) light up.
- the
WLAN indicator light (2) starts flashing.
• The
WLAN indicator light indicates the following statuses:
Status
LED Pattern
On
Off
Flashing fast
Without user input the indicator light goes out after 10 minutes. To continue
the setup reconnect the power strip.
Flashing slowly

4s on/0.25s off
• The power strip is intended to remain on. There is no need to turn it off after using it.
• Move the reset switch RESET/OFF into the OFF position in the following cases:
- If you wish to store the power strip for longer periods of time.
- In case of an emergency, in order to cut the current supply to all connected loads.
b) Socket control
• Refer to the app manual to learn more about socket controls.
c) USB power source
The USB socket can provide power to devices connected via USB cable (e.g. charging of mobile device).
Note the below points:
• It does not serve as a data port.
• Observe the maximum permissible current to be drawn. See technical data.
Overcurrent protection
If the total current of the power strip exceeds the maximum permissible current (see technical data),the port
with the highest power consumption is turned off automatically.
Follow the below steps to restart the power strip:
• Remove the loads that make the total current exceed the limit.
• To restore the port, refer to the app operating instructions.
Resetting
a) Soft reset
A soft reset may be required if you have successfully set up the power strip but it is not loaded
into the app interface.
A soft reset restarts the power strip and stored settings remain untouched. Proceed as follows:
• Turn the power strip on.
• Move the reset switch RESET/OFF into the OFF position, then back into the RESET position.
• The power strip resets itself.
• The soft reset procedure is completed.
When
Connected to WLAN
Not connected to WLAN
- Ready to connect to WLAN, includes:
- deleting the power strip in the app
- after a hard reset
- failed to add power strip to app
- Connecting to WLAN access point
- Permanently failed to connect to WLAN access
point
Incorrect WLAN password
No internet connection
b) Hard reset
A hard reset is required if the setup of the power strip fails, or when you wish to connect the
power strip to another WLAN network.
A hard reset removes all stored settings and re-applies the factory default settings. Proceed as follows:
• Turn the power strip on.
• Use a thin insulated tool and press the reset button Reset (5) until the
comes on again and flashes quickly.
• The power strip restarts.
• The hard reset procedure is completed.
Maintenance and Cleaning
• The product does not require any maintenance. You should not open/disassemble it. Repair or maintenance
work must be carried out by a specialist.
• Move the reset switch RESET/OFF into the OFF position.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the mains cable from the power supply.
• Disconnect connected loads.
• You can use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Dust can be very easily removed with a soft, clean brush
and a vacuum cleaner.
• Do not use aggressive chemical or scouring cleaning agents, as this may lead to discolouration or changes
in the material on the surface.
