OPERATINg THE PTC-240 D
EXAmPLE OF mANUALLY ADJUSTINg THE SIDE CLOCKS
Operation o f the main clock on the device can be done with
4 buttons;
MENUE A ctivates / Deactivates the menu; any process
can be stopped; updated settings are not trans-
ferred though
+ / - To scroll through the menu and to change settings
ENTER
p ress to switch to a submenu;
save new settings
1. Press the button menu; menu-LED and display illumina-
tion are activated, LCD displays point 1 of the menu "set
date/time"
2. Use the + button to get to number 3 in the menu "swit-
ching side-clocks" and press ENTER
3. To adjust the slave clock, you must activate it before.
If the display shows „slave-clock activate" press the
ENTER button.
Use the button ENTER to set the line 1 or line 2 ON
Press the + button to get to the menu item „Apply
Changes"
Press the button ENTER to save the changes, or cancel
by pressing the button MENUE
4. In the menu slave-clock lines the menu item is selected
„switch slave-clocks" by pressing the + button.
• Press the ENTER button
• Press + or - to select the slave clock line 1 or 2
• Press the ENTER button
• U sing the + and - button set the number of minutes that
must be adjust by the master clock
• Press the ENTER key
• N ow the second slave clock can be selected and adju-
sted, if necessary
• B y pressing the MENU button 3 times you can exit the
setup menu.
Now starts the setup process for one or both lines.
After setup process the master clock starts a setup and re-
starts.
If slave clock lines is deactivated, it can not be adjusted.
A deactivated slave clock is shown by the „!" after the line
designation. The jumper J1 is located right next to the con-
nector.

Die Bedienung der Hauptuhr direkt am Gerät erfolgt mit 4
Tasten:
MENUE A ktiviert/Deaktiviert das Menü; Vorgänge kön-
nen abgebrochen werden, Einstellwerte wer-
den dann nicht übernommen
+ / - Blättern im Menü; Ändern von Werten

W echsel in ein Untermenü;
Übernahme neuer Werte
1. Taste MENUE drücken - Menü-LED und Displaybeleuch-
tung sind aktiv, LCD zeigt den Menüpunkt 1 - „Datum/
Uhrzeit stellen"
2. M it Taste + bis zum Menüpunkt 3 - „Nebenuhrlinien" -
blättern und ENTER drücken
3. Um die Nebenuhrlinie zu richten, muss diese aktiviert
werden. Bei der Anzeige „Nebenuhrlinie aktivieren"
ENTER drücken.
Mit Taste ENTER die Linie 1 bzw. Linie 2 auf EIN stellen
M it Taste + kommt man zum Menüpunkt „Änderung
übernehmen"
M it Taste ENTER die Änderung abspeichern, bzw. mit Ta-
ste MENUE abbrechen
4. I m Menü Nebenuhrlinien kann jetzt mit Taste + der Menü-
punkt „Nebenuhren schalten" angewählt werden.
• T aste ENTER drücken
• M it Taste + und – die Nebenuhrlinie 1 oder 2 auswählen
• T aste ENTER drücken
• Mit Taste + und - die Anzahl der Minuten einstellen die
die Hauptuhr nachrichten muss
• T aste ENTER drücken
• Jetzt kann die zweite Nebenuhrlinie ausgewählt und
eingestellt werden, falls erforderlich
• T aste MENUE 3x drücken; damit das Einstellmenü ver-
lassen.
Jetzt startet der Richtvorgang für eine bzw. beide Linien.
Nach dem Richtvorgang führt die Hauptuhr ein Setup durch
und startet neu.
Sind Nebenuhrlinien deaktiviert, so können sie nicht gerich-
tet werden. Eine deaktivierte Nebenuhrlinie ist am „!" nach
der Linienbezeichnung erkennbar.
