Warning label
The warning label is located on the unit near to the On / Off switch.
– Damaged, illegible or removed warning stickers must be replaced
immediately.
The instructions must be read before using and ope-
ning the unit!
The instructions must be read and the mains plug
removed before opening the unit!

Operating instructions
– When the assembly conditions are no longer fulfilled (e.g. due to
changes being made to the surroundings), the unit must not be
operated any more.
– The installation location must provide good access for
maintenance.
– The device is protected in accordance with IP20 and may not be
operated in damp rooms or in rooms in which the relative humidity
exceeds 60 %.
– A socket with earthing contact must be provided by the customer
near to the unit.
– The installation location must be selected so that the hose to the
STERITENT is as short as possible and is bent only once (90°).
– The air circulation may not be impaired by barriers such as room
partitions, other technical equipment, etc.
– When installing on a floor with carpet, more dust particles will be
extracted that overload the filter additionally. We recommend the
operation on a smooth floor or when a smooth subframe is placed
underneath (e. g. a plate).
– With longer periods of absence or during operating interferences,

pull out the mains plug to de-energise the unit. Even when the
mains switch is located in the Off position, the unit is not fully
separated from the mains supply. If the unit is not used temporarily
(e.g. over night), we recommend switching off using the mains
switch.
– The device may not be operated outside.
– No walls, partitions or other large barriers may be located within a
radius of 0.5 m, otherwise the fresh air supply cannot be
guaranteed.
