04. Operation

NOTE: Before using for the first time, switch the device on for a few
minutes and allow it to run at the highest speed and temperature
settings. As a result of the manufacturing process, a slight odour may
be produced. This is not harmful and only occurs during initial use.
Ensure that the room has good ventilation.
Switching the appliance on/off and regulating
the air flow
1. Connect the power plug to an easily accessible wall socket.
2. With the on/off and power level switch, you switch the appliance
on and select the desired power level:
0 = off
1 = gentle air flow, lower temperature
2 = increased air flow, higher temperature
3. After drying/styling, set the on/off switch to 0 (off) and pull out
the power plug.

Cooling function

You can use the cooling function to fix your styling.
1. While styling your hair, set the power level switch to position
to obtain a cooler air flow.
2. If you do not need the cooler air flow anymore, set the switch to the
desired power level or switch the appliance off.


Styling
Use the styling brushes to style specific sections of your hair.
The round brush with retractable bristles (30 mm)

facilitates loosing the brush from a strand of hair. After
having rolled the strand of hair around the brush, simply
turn the button and the bristles will be retracted (see fig.
on the right).
The round brush with hard and soft bristles (21 mm) is suitable
● ●
for styling smaller curls/waves.
1. To style curls/waves, roll a strand of hair around the round brush;
roll it upward beginning with the end.
2. Switch the appliance on and select the desired power level.
Replacing the styling brushes
DANGER!
Allow the styling brushes to cool before removing them from
the appliance.
Attaching / detaching the styling brush
1. Place the styling brush onto the appliance
so that the large arrow on the brush and the
arrow on the appliance are aligned.
2. Press the styling brush down up to the stop
and turn it clockwise until it locks into place
with an audible click. The unlocking button
(2) is now at the height of the padlock sym­
bol (fig. illustrates styling brush in locked
state).
3. To remove the styling brush, move the unlocking button (2) to­
wards the padlock symbol , turn the styling brush anticlockwise
and pull it off.

