The other functions of the printer described in the original instructions are not
available in association with our KERN balances.
Connection of printer YKL-01 ( Zebra LP 2824 PLUS) to KERN balance
Setting of the label printer to print out the weighing data
Connect the interface cable included in scope of delivery to the balance
The added plug-in adapter (orange side) must be plugged in the printer.
The other plug-in adapter (white side) must be plugged in the intermediate section,
according to the connected balance.
The serial interface of the label printer waits for the data from the balance
with 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit.
These data must be set in the interface configuration of the balance.
The printer can work in the Page Mode as well as in the Line Mode.
When delivered by KERN, the printer is set on the Line Mode necessary for the
printout of the weighing value.
This setting remains also active after a reset or a restart.
