Power supply priority
When you connect wired microphones to RCH40, please connect the device that requires high stability
to the high priority port. When the output power of RCH40 exceeds the rated output, it will reset the low
priority port to ensure the power supply of the higher priority ports. (For example, It will cause the power
of RCH40 to exceed the rated power when you connect a device to port 2, port 3, and port 4, and then
connect another device to port 1. RCH40 will reset the port 4 to ensure that port 1, port 2, and port 3 have
enough power. After resetting the port 4, the power of RCH40 still exceeds the rated output. RCH40 will
further try to reset port 3 and port 4 until the power of RCH40 obtains sufficient power supply.)
RCH40 supports connection to Yealink VC Room System, Microsoft Teams Room, and Zoom Room
System. The port involved in the following connection steps is referred to the VC Hub/Phone port for short.
You can connect the microphone device to the RCH40, such as Video Conferencing Microphone VCM34,
Video Conferencing Microphone VCM36, and Ceiling Microphone VCM38. For more information on VCM34/
VCM36/VCM38, refer to Yealink VCM34/VCM36/VCM38 Quick Start Guide.The following connection takes
VCM34 as an example.
