WHAT TO DO IF...

and remedy the problem (*see also the corresponding chapter in the user instructions).
Problem
The appliance is not

No water supply.
The appliance doesn't fill with
enough water.
There is a power failure.
Insufficient rinse aid.
Residual water in cavities.
The water spray does not reach the
dishes.
Insufficient detergent.
Unsuitable programme selected.
Spray arms blocked.
Spray arm nozzles clogged.
Incorrect detergent/detergent too
old.
Clogged filters.
Filters incorrectly installed.
Tomato/Carrot juice...

Remedy
Turn on the water tap.
Clean the filter in the water supply
tap.
Ensure the inlet water hose is not
kinked.
Insert the plug into the mains
socket.
Open the door.
Close the door.
Check the domestic circuit fuse.
Increase dispenser setting *.
Load dishes tilted at an angle.
Arrange dishes so that items do not
touch each other.
Load dishes upside down.
Use the quantity of detergent
recommended by the manufacturer.
Select a more intense wash cycle.
The spray arms must be able to turn
freely.
Remove any particles obstructing
the water flow *.
Use a good quality detergent.
Check filters regularly/clean if
necessary *.
Refit and lock the filters in place,
making sure they have been inserted
correctly *.
Depending on the material, if
necessary use a detergent with a
greater whitening power.
