SAFETY RULES PRIOR TO OPERATION OF THIS PRODUCT
REFILLING
WARNING:
•
Never refill the burner while the fireplace is operating or still hot. Allow the burner
to cool completely for at least 15 minutes before refilling.
•
Never pour fuel into a burning flame.
CLEANING:
•
Clean the burner surfaces regularly using warm water and dish soap.
•
For marks, use a soft cloth with a mixture of lukewarm water and a small amount of pH-neutral cleaning
liquid.
CAUTION:
Never use chemicals, steel wool, or scrubbing sponges to clean the fireplace, as these can scratch the surface.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages resulting from improper use or cleaning of the products.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Burning ethanol produces water vapor and carbon dioxide.
•
Never leave an open fire unattended at any time!
•
Install the device in a house where there is sufficient air supply for ventilation and combustion. The room
must not be smaller than 44 m³ (1550 ft³) of air volume for every 1000 BTU per hour capacity of the fire-
place (considering the maximum burner setting).
•
Do not use the fireplace in a bathroom, sleeping area, or any other small room.
CAUTION:
•
The fireplace and burner become hot during operation. Do not touch the fireplace while it is burning, and
allow at least 15 minutes to cool down after the flame is extinguished.
•
Do not operate the ethanol fireplace until it is fully assembled.
•
Never pour fuel into an open flame or the burner reservoir unless it has cooled for at least 15 minutes after
use.
•
Keep flammable materials at least 1 meter (40 inches) away from the fireplace, and maintain a safety
distance of at least 2 meters (80 inches) from any windows or curtains.
•
Do not burn the fireplace under overhanging items.
•
Do not smoke while handling fuel.
•
Avoid airflow in the room where the fireplace is in operation.
WARNING: Risk of Explosion:
•
Never use any fuel other than bioethanol. Gasoline is prohibited.
•
Do not use the appliance in areas where flammable vapors or gases may be present.
•
Always store and transport fuel in a metal or plastic container that complies with the Consumer Chemicals
and - Containers Regulations 2001, and ensure it is the original container for the specified fuel.
•
Never store fuel in living spaces or in the same area as the appliance.
•
Let the bioethanol burn out completely before storing the burner. The fuel reservoir should be kept clean,
as fuel residues can cause odors. The bottle of bioethanol should be stored in a cool, dry place.
