Signalverarbeitung

ZERO LOCATOR 1.080.395
The purpose of the ZERO LOCATOR is to re—
turn to the couriter zero position by the short-
est route in response to a push—button command.
The circuit obtains its information from the tape
transport control in the form of data on the value
arid sigh of the actuai COUHTET reading, and on
the selected and instantaneous tape speed.

4.4.1
Signal processing
Operation of the Iocator is monitored by the
search tlipflop (1C 1). This stage is set by the
signal SwZLOCAT and remains in this state un—
til the search is ended (ZERO—OUT positive for
long enough), or the stop lamp is switched on by
a signal not produced in the locator circuit. This
happens it the tape breaks or the search is inter—
rupted for some other reason.
The search flipflop allows the command signals
to pass, and at the same time triggers a winding
mode command. Which direction the tape moves
in depends on the sign of the counter difference.
The counter—readihg signals are converted in a
digital—to-ahalogue converter into a DC voltage
signal. Only the last two digits (units and tens
of seconds) are examined quantitatively. All
other digits (2 each for minutes and hours) are
considered as "minutes". The converter is over-
driven at counter readings greater than 59 se—
bonds
