Problem
Oil on pump body or base.
Pump using too much oil (oil
flowing from delivery port) or oil
whitish in colour (water/oil emul-
sion in tank).

Cause
Oil seal on pump
shaft worn.
Oil pressure inside pump too high.
One or more diaphragms ruptured.

Remedy
Replace the worn oil seal.
Restore correct oil level in tank.
Stop the pump at once. Replace
the diaphragms (1)
