BROWN dISCOLORATIONS OF STAINLESS
STEEL COOKWARE
Stainless steel is sensitive to "fly" rust in spi-
te of its resistance to rust. "Fly" rust develops
when iron particles and water come into con-
tact with the surface of the stainless steel. This
rust can be removed easily with stainless steel
cleansers.

If salt remains in water at the bottom of the
cookware for a long time, then little holes can
form on the bottom of the cookware. These are
small dots on the bottom of the cookware. This
can be prevented by putting salt in boiling water
only or adding it to hot meals.
HOW TO SAVE ENERGY WHEN COOKING
· Using a lid when cooking reduces energy con-
sumption.
· Use the least amount of water possible and
boil it quickly before turning down the heat.
· When cooking with gas, pay attention that the
flames do not protrude over the edge of the
bottom of the cookware.
