ELECTRIC DIESEL PUMP
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Not applying to the following instructions and any mechanical
interference with the product excepts the manufacturer's
liability for damages resulting from the use of the device and
cancels warranty rights.
• when refuelling, wear PVC safety gloves to avoid skin
irritation resulting from exposure to hydrocarbons.
• do NOT smoke using or servicing the fuel distributor.
• the device can only be opened by qualified electricians
in spite of the high voltage inside.
• do NOT cross the device's max. parameters.
• do NOT leave working device without supervision.
• before turning the device on, make sure that all the
wires and the whole device are intact.
• do NOT turn the device on, being bare fool, having wet
hands or standing in water.
• do NOT start the device when it's not complete, do NOT
remove any of it's parts.
• keep the electric wire and the switch box far from
splashing water or other fluids. Protect it against
weather conditions.
INPROPER USE:
• pumping sea water, dirty water, water containing
corrosive substances or solid particles like sand,
liquids whose temperature is over 90
flammable, explosive liquids.
• device use by children, without adult's supervision.
• using the device without any liquid to pump.
USAGE:
• the pump is powered with 12V (P/N: 02066, 02068), 24V
(P/N: 02069).
• before starting to work with the pump, make sure that
there is already some oil in the tank.
• oil should not be pumped into completely empty tank.
• pay attention to the pump's capacity. It can not be
exceeded when the device is working.
• the device should be used only for pumping oil, the flow
is 12 l/min. (P/N: 02066), 30 l/min. (P/N: 02068, 02069).
• the max. diameter of the outflow is 16-18 mm (P/N:
02066), 19 mm (P/N: 02068, 02069).
• THE BOTTOM OF THE PUMP HAS TO BE IMMERSED IN
THE LIQUID.
Do not start the device if you are not sure that both suction
and outflow conduit are properly installed.
FIRST AID:
In case if oil has be swallowed - do not induce vomit. A
large amount of water or milk should be given to drink to
the person.
In case when somebody has been electrocuted - cut off
the source of power or, protecting yourself with a dry
insulator, take the electrocuted person away from the
source of electricity. Do not touch the person that has
been given an electric shock with bare hands as long as the
person is in a safe distance from the source of electricity.
Emergency services should also be immediately called.
TRANSPORT:
The device does not require assembly as it is delivered
complete. In the case when the package is visibly damaged,
check if the device itself is not damaged likewise. Before
starting to work with the device make sure that the data
on the nameplate allows the device to be used at the
place of destination. Transport the device only when the
power cord and both suction and outflow conduits have
been disconnected. Do NOT move the device by pulling
the power cord.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
THE PUMP WILL NOT START:
1. No power supply - Check the power connection
2. The engine does not work - Octant service
REDUCED PUMP PERFORMANCE:
1. Aerated suction conduit - Check if the suction conduit
is not damaged
2. Clogged filter - Clean the filter
3. Suction conduit is not submerged in oil - Dip the
suction conduit in oil
4. Too high pumping height - Lower the tank
