HOW TO SOLVE
RECOGNITION ISSUES
Use the finger with the greatest possible
contact (e.g. thumb) and clearest
fingerprint pattern. Small fingers (e.g.
children), fingers without structure
or with scars and other injuries make
recognition difficult.
Clean/Dry the finger before using the
reader. Dirt, wetness or skin folds on the
fingertips reduce the recognition rate.
Register several fingers per person.
Injuries to the fingerprint could prevent
the detection (e.g. torn skin, scars).
Register the same finger for summer
and winter.
Various weather conditions (summer,
winter, heat, cold ...) could change the
fingerprint and lead to nonrecognition.
If a previously registered finger is not
recognized, save it as an additional new
finger (e.g. "right forefinger winter" and
"right forefinger summer").
