BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging material. Make sure that no polystyrene remains on the heating

element (2).
Check for completeness and transport damage. In case of damages or incomplete delivery

please contact your dealer (
Keep the packaging for storing the appliance when not in use for an extended period of
•
time.
Place the appliance on a level, stable, clean, dry and heat resistant surface.
•
Operate the appliance before first use on medium setting (7) for 5 to 8 minutes to burn
•
off production residues. Make sure there is good ventilation. There might be some smoke
building up. This is normal and does not indicate any defect of the appliance.
Clean the appliance and the accessories (

During first use, drop some oil on the surface of grill plate (1) and pans (9), then wipe the

parts with a dry cloth.
• In order not to destroy the anti-stick coating, when turning or moving food, make sure to use
the supplied wooden scrapers (10).
