Additional safety rules for leaf blowers
• Do not operate the tool near people, especially children or pets.
• Never operate the leaf blower if any of the parts is damaged or missing.
• The leaf blower must only be used by adults who have read and understood
the contents of this instruction manual.
• Never have your hands or feet close to the air intake when starting the leaf blower.
• Always remove the battery before leaving the leaf blower unattended.
• Always remove the battery before servicing or adjusting the leaf blower.
• Keep all the air intakes and the blower tube free from dust, grass and leaves.
• Store the leaf blower out of children's reach.
• Switch the leaf blower off and remove the battery if it starts to vibrate. Check that
none of the parts is loose.
• Only use the leaf blower during broad daylight.
• Do not run while using the leaf blower. Keep a balanced and stable stance while
using the leaf blower.
• Regularly check that all screws and nuts are securely tightened.
• The operator is ultimately responsible for any injuries caused to others or damage
to their property.
Leaf blowing
• The blower can throw up objects which can result in personal injury.
• Never point the blower tube towards people or animals.
• Do not blow hard objects.
• Pay particular attention when operating the leaf blower on stairs or in other places
with sharp corners and edges.
• Wear safety goggles or a visor, ear defenders, full body clothing and footwear.
