The Oehlbach PowerLan HDMI Extender can be used to transmit a HDMI signal via the existing home
mains supply. The HDBit transport protocol is able to provide a video resolution of 1080p up to 300m
distance without any additional cable.

Installation
1. Connect the „HDMI INPUT' connector of the PowerLan transmitter (Tx) to a source device (DVD-,
BluRay-Player, PC). You can use the „HDMI OUTPUT" connection on the transmitter at the same
time to transmit the HDMI signal to another device.
2. Connect the „HDMI OUT" connector of the Falcon HD Receiver (Rx) to an output device (TV, monitor,
projector).
3. Connect the IR emitter „IR OUT" (3.5mm jack plug) to the IR OUT socket on the PowerLan transmit-
ter (Tx). Position the IR emitter in such a way that it is pointing towards the IR sensor of the source
device.
4. Connect the IR receiver „IR IN" (3.5mm jack plug) to the IR IN jack of the PowerLan Receiver (Rx).
Position the IR receiver in such a way that you can reach this with the IR signal from yoursource
device remote control.
