11. Air source
CONNECTION TO THE COMPRESSED AIR NETWORK
• Fit the connector (coupling) to the end of the flexible hose and
tighten it with a spanner.
• Connect the quick connector (sold separately) to the connector. This
is a useful component that allows you to quickly connect a whole
range of pneumatic devices to the hose.
• The pneumatic ratchet wrench is now ready for use.

DESCRIPTION
Impact wrench designed for heavy-duty use. It is intended for
tightening/loosening threaded fasteners – screws, nuts, etc. The tool is
equipped with a three-stage torque adjustment system. The rotatable air
outlet allows the exhaust position to be adjusted so that it does not
interfere with work.
PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
An example of a pneumatic supply system is shown in Fig. B. The working
pressure should not exceed 6.2 psi. Using a higher working pressure may
damage the device and pose a risk to the operator.
Ensure that the air supplied to the device is clean and dry. The pneumatic
system should be dried before connection. Dry the system regularly and
check the condition of the filter. The device should be used in conjunction
with the lubricator built into the system.
The tool is connected to the system via a 1/4" connection. The minimum
internal diameter of the pneumatic hose is 10 mm (3/8"). The installation
should include a visible and accessible safety switch.
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
The wrench is designed to work with 1/2'' impact sockets. Do not use the
wrench with sockets other than impact sockets, as this may damage them.
After placing the socket on the wrench spindle, place it on the head of the
nut/bolt and start the device by pressing the switch. The key shank will
begin to rotate, and when it encounters resistance from the
tightened/loosened element, the impact mechanism will activate. The
device switches off when the pressure on the button is released.
It is possible to modify the tightening torque in three stages by turning the
valve built into the device and controlling the flow of air supplied to the
mechanism. Turning the valve in the other direction changes the direction
of rotation. Torque modification is not available for the loosening mode.
After completing work, it is essential to disconnect the device from the air
source to prevent accidental start-up. All maintenance operations on the
device, e.g. replacement of caps, should be carried out after disconnecting
it from the air source.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In addition to damage or wear and tear, other factors such as poor
condition of the pneumatic system (damage, blockage, leakage or
moisture) can also have a negative impact on performance. Problems can
also be caused by the device becoming dirty with excess dust and
abrasion products. For this reason, it is important to keep the device clean.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
In order to extend the service life of the tool, it should be cleaned regularly.
After each use, the device should be cleaned by wiping it with a dry cloth.
Do not use solvents or agents that may cause corrosion of the device
components.
The mechanism should be lubricated using a lubricator that is part of the
pneumatic supply system. The oil level in the lubricator should be checked
regularly and topped up if necessary. If there is no lubricator, direct
lubrication is possible by applying a few drops of pneumatic oil to the air
inlet before starting the device. After lubricating the device, oil droplets
may escape through the air outlet for the first few seconds. In this case, it
is necessary to temporarily secure it, e.g. with a towel. Only pneumatic oils
should be used to lubricate the mechanism. The use of other types of oil
or failure to lubricate the mechanism will shorten the service life and
damage the tool.
All repairs should only be carried out by authorised personnel through an
authorised service centre.

NOISE AND VIBRATION DATA

Information on noise and vibration
The noise emitted by the device is described by: the emitted sound

measurement uncertainty). The vibrations emitted by the device are
described by the vibration acceleration value a
measurement uncertainty).
The following values given in this manual: sound pressure level Lp
sound power level Lw
A
measured in accordance with EN ISO 11148-6. The specified vibration
level a(
can be used to compare devices and for a preliminary
h)
assessment of vibration exposure.
The vibration level given is representative only for the basic applications
of the device. If the device is used for other applications or with other
working tools, the vibration level may change. Insufficient or infrequent
maintenance of the device will result in a higher vibration level. The
reasons given above may increase exposure to vibration during the
entire working period.
To accurately estimate vibration exposure, periods when the
device is switched off or when it is switched on but not used for
work must be taken into account. After careful estimation of all
factors, the total vibration exposure may be significantly lower.
In order to protect the user from the effects of vibration, additional safety
measures should be implemented, such as: regular maintenance of the
device and work tools, ensuring adequate hand temperature and proper
work organisation.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Products should not be disposed of with household waste, but should
be sent for disposal at appropriate facilities. Information on disposal
can be obtained from the product seller or local authorities. Used
equipment contains substances that are not environmentally neutral.
Equipment that is not recycled poses a potential threat to the
environment and human health.
