PRODUCT INFORMATION

5.1 Product and product range description
RAU-WOOD profiles
The profiles consist of high quality polypropylene and at least 50% wood fibres
from sustainable, European forests (PEFC-certified). This material combination
of wood and polymer is known as Wood-Polymer-Composite, WPC for short.
By mixing wood fibres with polypropylene, the RAU-WOOD WPC material
developed by REHAU combines the positive properties of both polymers and
wood particularly well. With excellent mechanical characteristic values, the
profile also retains a natural feel and look.
Due to the additional brushing of the WPC profile, a roughened surface is
created, thus further emphasising the natural look of the product.
Outer frame
The frame is made from high quality aluminium and is held together with
stainless steel screws.
Due to the anodisation of the frame, the good corrosion-resistance of the
aluminium is further improved. Furthermore, you achieve a surface that is de-
corative and easy to maintain, and is electrically insulating at the same time.
System components
The cover caps for the frame are made from high quality polypropylene and
ensure a perfect connection.
The screen is offered as a full range system in an easy transportable flatpack
(2 packs) and is therefore easy to handle and transport.
As accessories 2 different floor fixtures are available: The „base plate" for
existing concrete foundations or the „ground anchor" for bedding into new
foundations. There are connecting hinges for connecting the elements to each
other or for connecting them directly to the wall of the house.
5.2 Dimensions and permitted deviations
All dimensions and tolerances are stipulated on the latest version of the
REHAU drawing at the time. For dimensions without special tolerance specif-
ications, the general tolerances according to DIN 2768 v. apply.

Variant „solid" - 81mm (height of profiles)
The screen variant made from the RAU-WOOD material impresses with its
simple linear design and can be combined perfectly with RELAZZO decking
boards.
The special surface treatment of the WPC profile enhances the wood
character. The brushing is carried out uniformly in one direction, as a result of
which the wood particles are evenly spaced.
