Emptying the dust bin

If the device is no longer capable of collecting dirt, this indicates that the dust bin is full
and must be emptied. You can also empty it each time after you use the device.
1. Turn the device off (On/Off switch position OFF).
2. Take the rechargeable battery out of the rechargeable battery compartment to make
sure that the device does not inadvertently turn on. To do this, depress the two side
release buttons on the rechargeable battery and remove the rechargeable battery .

Cleaning and storage

ATTENTION!
❐ Make sure that the device has been turned off and that the rechargeable battery has
been removed before you take hold of the cleaning head.
❐ Never immerse the device, the charger and rechargeable battery in water. When
cleaning, no liquid may penetrate these devices.
❐ Do not use any abrasive or scouring cleaners when cleaning. They could damage
the surface.
As with all cleaning devices fi tted with rotating brushes, hair, threads and other particles
accumulate on the cleaning brushes over time. We recommend cleaning the brushes
from time to time. To do so, you can pull the brushes out of the cleaning head as follows:
3. Hold the cleaning head over a garbage bin and open the
dust bin by depressing the two latches next to the pole.
Please keep in mind: The dust bin lid will immediately pop
open!
4. Empty the dirt into a garbage bin and then close the lid
of the dust bin again. The latches must audibly lock into
place.
1. To ensure that the brushes are more accessible, take the
cover off of the cleaning head. To do so, push the two
latches on the cleaning head together and lift the cover
up and off.
