Probable Cause
The unit is not switched on
Plug or lead is damaged
Fuse in the plug has blown
Mains power supply fault
Appliance is not level
The appliance is touching a
neighbouring object
Temperature set incorrectly
External environment may require
colder temperature
The door is opened too often
Door seal is worn
Condensation may occur when the humidity is high and water particles in the air
contact with cold surfaces. This is normal, just wipe away with a dry cloth
Cleaning, Care &
Maintenance
•
Switch off and disconnect from the power supply
before cleaning.
•
Clean the interior of the appliance as often as
possible.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. These can
leave harmful residues.
•
Always wipe dry after cleaning.
•
If left unused for any length of time, store the
appliance with the door ajar.
Condensation and ice will form with frequent and
prolonged opening of the doors.
Operating outside of the recommend temperature
range and placing next to a heat source will also
increase the amount of ice and condensation.
Excessive ice will result in longer running times that
will increase energy consumption and increase the
deterioration of components.
Manual Defrost
In case of frost build-up inside the appliance, Nisbets
Essentials recommend defrosting it manually. To do
this, set the thermostat to "OFF" first.
Solution
Check unit is plugged in correctly and
switched on
Replace Plug or lead
Replace the fuse
Check mains power supply
Adjust the feet to level the appliance
Check installation position and change if
necessary
Check temperature and reset if necessary
Check temperature and reset if necessary
