BATTERY IN HIGH OR LOW TEMPERATURE
If you want to make the Hoverboard run efficiently, the temperature of the battery should
be kept within the approved temperature range during charging.
PRECAUTIONS IN TRANSPORTING
Lithium batteries are considered hazardous materials for transportation and you will need to
get local law allowance. If you need to transport your Hoverboard with lithium battery, please
contact the transportation company and ask them for their recommendations and policies.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

When it is time to replace your battery, we recommend that you contact the nearest
Rusta location for help. The battery used in your Hoverboard has been specially designed
to meet exact safety requirements and is designed to work exclusively with your Hover-
board. Usage of any other battery is not recommended and can increase the risk of your
safety and the operability of your Hoverboard.

CALIBRATING THE HOVERBOARD
Calibrating your Hoverboard is part of the maintenance that should be done regularly for
your Hoverboard. Calibrating will keep your Hoverboard functioning smoothly. During
longtime use, your Hoverboard can become unstable or you will notice one wheel turning
more than the other, this is natural and can easily be fixed by calibrating the Hoverboard.
If your Hoverboard feels unbalanced or the wheels cannot be synched, you need to per-
form a calibration. This is easy if you follow the steps below:
1. Place your Hoverboard on a flat surface, such as a floor.
2. Switch off the Hoverboard.
3. Position the pedals parallel to one another and horizontal to the ground (not inclining
forward or backward).
4. Tip! Use the polystyrene that the Hoverboard came packaged in, in order to help keep
it level.
5. Cut a hole in the side of the polystyrene to access the ON/OFF button.
