Hot Foods: Setup and Use Instructions
1. Unpack Components: Remove all components from the box and unwrap
them.
2. Position the Base: Place the base on a firm surface (refer to the diagram for
the included parts).
3. Position Fuel Holders: Carefully place the fuel holders at the center of the
base. Caution: Always use a hot pad when touching the fuel holder, as the
fuel, fuel holders, and fuel holder lids can become extremely hot.
4. Set Up Water Pan: Place the water pan into the base and fill it with water
(using hot water will result in faster heating).
5. Heat the Water: Remove the cover from the fuel canister, light the fuel, and
allow the water to heat. The steam from the heated water will keep the food
hot.
6. Prepare Food Pan: Place the food in the food pan and set this pan into the
water pan. The food pan will be suspended above the water. Cover the food
pan with its lid.
7. Extinguish Fuel: To extinguish the fuel, place the cover over the fuel burner—
DO NOT BLOW OUT the flame. (For best heat efficiency, keep the cover over
the food pan and periodically check the water level, as water will evaporate
as it turns to steam.)
